T is for Tea
My beverage of choice. I do love a good cup of coffee but drink tea much more often. Several cups a day, large and strong, it needs to be builders brew strength. If I feel the need for a cup later in the evening then I'll go for a Red bush as it's decaffeinated. I first came across this tea after reading Alexander McCall Smiths novels about Precious Ramotswe in Botswana. She is also a big tea drinker, and introduced me to Red Bush, though her assistant private detective Mma Makutsi prefers regular tea.
They also taught me to slow down while drinking tea and just enjoy it while relaxing, it helps them come up with solutions to the often gentle crimes or dilemmas they have been employed to solve. I try to use my tea drinking to just stop a few minutes and just drink, it doesn't give me any insight into anything but I do enjoy it more and feel ready for whatever needs doing next.
When reading other blogs I do like a cup in my hand, too. I hope you are doing the same with the drink you like best.

I love when we find little things from books that end up being a part of our lives. I've got that series waiting to be read. Think I'll try to find that tea to enjoy while I read it :)
I've never been a coffee drinking but do enjoy a cup of tea. Especially in the winter. Always reminds me of my grandparents who were/are tea drinkers and makes me smile. My favorite is a blackberry/sage. It's so good and what I almost always go to.

Being from the South, I like my tea iced and super sweet. When writing and visiting blogs, I usually drink coffee.
Wishing you continued success with the A to Z challenge,
Jocelyn
Herding Cats - Burning Soup, Red bush has a different flavour so be aware when trying it. If I have a herbal I like a fennel tea, very refreshing and apparently helps stave off hunger, so less snack eating, lol.
Jocelyn, we don't get heat like you do so often here in chilly UK, but an iced tea on a hot day is good.
I love love love tea! I drink it hot when I'm sick and iced any other time, when I was pregnant with my daughter I drank at least 5 cups a day! Good Luck with the rest of challenge, not much more to go!
Thanks for the heads up! I've had some interesting ones over the years with the grandparents so I'm still up for giving it a go :)
Tammi, good luck to you, too :) And everyone else. It'll be strange when it's over.
I'm a coffee drinker mostly, but I do love tea and have a cup every evening. I agree, it is wonderful...very soothing and relaxing!
Good post. I am a tea drinker. On a cold winter Saturday, I like to brew a pot, then carry it on a tray with my cup, saucer, sugar...and sit and write while I sip--for a loooong time ;-)
